LMT sanitary levels sensors: Device configuration

The following guides you through the programming steps for the LMT sensors. More details can be found in the Operating Manual on the datasheet page for the specific product.

Available parameters for LMT sensors
Please refer to the operating instructions for more details on these parameters.

Parameter Description
SPx / rPx Set and reset points for outputs 1 and 2 in % of maximum process value
  • Reference:  Air = 0%, tap water = 100%
  • Minimum hysteresis = 2%
  • Factory settings
    • Water based media:  [SPx] = 70%, [rPx] = 62%
    • Oil, powder media:  [SPx] = 8%, [rPx] = 5%
OUx Output function for outputs 1 and 2
  • [Hno]:  Hysteresis normally open
  • [Hnc]:  Hysteresis normally closed
  • [Fno]:  Window normally open
  • [Fnc]:  Window nomally closed
FOUx Response of the output in case of a fault
  • [OFF]:  Switching output turns off 
  • [On]:  Switching output turns on
dFo Delay time of the outputs in case of a fault.
  • 0...5 s in steps of 0.2 s
dSx/drx* Switch on / off delay for outputs 1 and 2
  • 0...10 s in steps of 0.2 s
P-n Switching logic for the outputs
  • PNP or NPN
tSPx Automatic set / reset point teach based on full tank
  • Only available for hysteresis-mode outputs
rES Reset all parameters to factory default

* dSx is not available for LMT100, LMT110 and LMT121
