Compact speed monitors: Installation guidelines

For best performance of the DI5 family of compact speed monitor, please adhere to the following guidelines.

The threaded body of the sensor makes it easy to mount. Use the lock nuts provided to secure it to angle bracket or other mounting plate.

Reliable detection of gear teeth requires an appropriate "mark-to-space" ratio, i.e., the size of the target (tooth) relative to the gap between teeth. The image below highlights the requirements where:
