Flush mounted transmitters solve many industrial applications

Highly viscous media

Applications for dosing of glues, adhesives, foams, and high viscosity media are problematic for pressure sensors with a recessed measuring cell. The PL family has a flush design to prevent media from adhering to the sensing face.

Small form factor for installation in tight spaces

Some applications require installations in tight places. The PL family features a compact form factor with ½” and ¼” process connections.

Wastewater

Wastewater pumping applications contain media with suspended solids. The PL sensor’s flush measuring face prevent suspended solids from clogging the pressure channel and affecting the pressure reading.

Outdoor / freezing

Thanks to the flush design and robust ceramic cell of the PL15 family, they can be used in applications with the potential for freezing temperatures. Since there is no port in the process connection, freezing media does not have an opportunity to expand and damage the sensing face.

Keg / bottle cleaning

Using the PL sensor in part or container cleaning applications is advantageous. There is no cavity in the process connection that will allow suspended particles to collect.
