OID laser distance sensors: Device configuration
The OID family of sensors have two basic types and each program differently.
- Versions like OID250 with adjustment dials to set the switch point.
- Versions like OID254 for harsh environments.
No tools are required to adjust the switch point using the adjustment dials. Simply twist the dial to the unlocked position and turn the dial to the desired distance for switching. Then twist the dial to the locked position.
The switch point can also be changed using the moneo | configure software.
The units without adjustment dials are designed for harsh washdown environments. The switch point for these sensors is adjusted using the moneo | configure software.
