Slight deposits on the inner walls of the tank do not impair the level detection, and they can be signaled via the switching output or IO-Link if the threshold is exceeded. This permanent condition monitoring prevents unplanned production downtime.

Measuring range, detection range, and dead zone

Each element (4) is 14 mm wide.
The media can be detected within 16 elements of the detection range (1). The process value refers to this range.
The measuring range (2) is the center 14 elements. This is where the accuracy is the highest.
The dead zone (3) is the area outside these zones where there are no elements.
