Automatically measure distance using compressed air

Replace manual, mechanical or differential pressure devices and improve machining process quality by continuously measuring the distance between a surface and a part using compressed air.

The SDP sensor detects the distance between the surface and object with consistent accuracy and outputs it as an absolute value. Even the smallest deviations of the actual position from the target position are reliably detected and ensures the quality of your manufactured product.

Since the gap is calculated based on pressure and flow, the measurement always remains accurate, regardless of pressure fluctuations, and number and diameter of nozzles. Additionally, the integrated pipe can withstand high purging pressure.
