Door switches prevent unauthorized access

Tamper-proof door protection

Non-contact RFID-coded and magnetic safety switches are used to monitor the opening/closing of machine guards, gates, fences, doors and other equipment. They are devices designed to protect both operators and machines from workplace hazards. They are preferred in some applications where no physical contact under normal condition takes place between the switch and the actuator.

Highest safety level with RFID coded safety switch

High protection against tampering

Series connection and easy installation and teaching reduces installtion time and costs

The RFID-coded safety sensor offers the highest protection (up to PLe SIL3) against tampering due to unique actuator coding. With no moving parts, the design is wear-free for minimal required maintenance over the long service life of the product. It provides intrinsically safe OSSD outputs with no fail-safe relay required. It allows series connection of up to 32 sensors without losing safety integrity. Clearly visible LEDs display the operating status and diagnostics.

The magnetically coded safety sensor allows activation of sensors from different directions, reducing installation time. They provide a low-cost alternative for interlock switches, and since they can function through nonferromagnetic and plastic material, they can be mounted out of sight to further provide tamper resistance. The magnetically coded sensors can also be connected in series and still identify which door is open.
