Applications
Typical applications for fork and angle sensors include:
- Parts detection in feeder bowls
- Quality check of finished goods
- Shape-independent detection of parts on a conveyor
- Web edge guiding
- Level monitoring on sight glass tubes or small containers
The fork sensors with laser light (OPU7xx products) have four selectable application-specific modes. Each mode is optimized for the application and only one application can be selected at a time.
