Hi, and welcome to this Tech Insights video. My name is Mary and I'm an application engineer here at ifm efector. In today's video, we are going to show you how to change the IP address of your IO link master using them in moneo configure software.
So let's get started. As you can see, I already have an AL1322 IO link master connected to my moneo configure software.
There are two ways to change the IP address of your IO link master. The first way is if you highlight the row that the master is connected to a configure IP icon will appear.
If you click on this, it will give you the option to make changes to the IP address, subnet mask or default gateway. Once you write any of these changes, you will then click on right to device to save those changes to the master.
The second way to make a change to your IP address is to connect to the IO link master itself. I will connect to it by clicking on the AL1322 master and it will begin to load the parameters for this master.
You will then click on the AL1322 itself and it will begin to pull in all of the parameter settings for this device.
The AL1322 is one of our data line masters, so I am connected to the IoT port of this device. So you will see settings for the IoT port as well as the field bus port in order to make changes to those IP settings.
You can make changes to the IoT IP address settings. Or if you scroll down below field bus, you can make changes to the IP address settings of the field bus ports.
Once you make those changes, you will then click on write to device in the bottom right hand corner and that would save to the device itself. So there you have it. That concludes this Tech Insights video on changing the IP address setting of your IO link master in the moneo configure software.
