Hi, and welcome to this Tech Insights video. My name is Mary and I'm an application engineer here at ifm efector. In today's video, we're going to go over how to download and activate your moneo configure software and license. So let's get started.
Now that you have purchased your moneo configure software, let me show you how to navigate to the software on our website in order to download it.
Here we have the ifm website. And if you go to products IoT software and parameter settings software, you will find them in moneo config, your software tile that you can click on.
Here you will see QMP010, which is the part number for the moneo configure software. And if you click on this, it will bring you to the page for the moneo configure software.
If you scroll down, you can find the executable file in order to download the software as well as the manuals for this software.
If you open up the manual for them in moneo installation instructions here on page five, you will find the initial log in section which will give you the initial username and password for this software.
So now let me take you to the software itself and show you how to activate your license and log in.
After you download your software and open it up, this will be the initial window you see for activating your license. There are two ways to activate your license. You can do an online activation, which is what I will show you now.
Or you can do an offline activation and the instructions for an offline activation are include it in the initial email you receive after purchasing this software.
Once you select online activation, you will click next and then you will copy and paste the license number that you received into this section and you will then click next.
Now that your software is fully licensed, it'll take you to the login page where you will enter the initial username and password for this software. Once you have entered that, you will then click log in.
Now that you have completed the download, activated your license and logged in, you now have full access to them and they'll configure software to parameter any of your IO link devices.
