RTD to IO-Link

The temperature plug is a signal converter for temperature sensors and resistance thermometers. ifm RTD series such as the TT, TM or TS can be connected directly onto the TP to convert resistance signals to IO-Link or analog outputs. 

With the TP temperature plug the wiring and installation complexity is significantly reduced as compared to conventional head or DIN rail transmitters. Because of the use of standardized M12 connections, common error sources such as wrong connection of temperature sensors via cable clamps are eliminated. The different devices' analog outputs are scaled for various factory settings to allow for a plug and play solution.
