Frequency (Hz) to IO-Link (speed)

In conveying systems, speed sensors are widely used to monitor under speed, blockage, or standstill. The DP2122 and DP4122 are pulse evaluation units that can monitor rotating, linear, or oscillating movements. They can measure pulse intervals from external sensors and calculate input frequency.

These units can display current frequency (Hz) or rotational speed (rpm). In addition, cyclic process values for frequency or rotational speed are available via IO-Link. The setting of the DP2122 unit can be done directly on the unit using the display and four buttons, or via the IO-Link interface for both units.
