Built and designed for the Ignition Perspective platform, the ifm sensor UDTs and Perspective templates allow users to bring more data into Ignition without having to go through the PLC. These templates allow Ignition users to quickly drop in a dashboard for an ifm sensor containing IO-Link data without any programming or scripting. 

Any user can view and download these templates on the Ignition Exchange site.

Each sensor has a single UDT tag definition and corresponding Perspective view. A UDT instance must be created for a given sensor prior to using a Perspective sensor view to display the data from that sensor.
