Blind pressure transmitter applications

Hydraulic power units

Pressure switches are used to monitor the system pressure of hydraulic power units. Mechanical switches are cumbersome, difficult to install and difficult to configure. What if all you needed to do was enter the analog scaling in your PLC?

The PA, PX, PT and PU pressure sensors are blind non-scalable transmitters. Enter the full range of the transmitter into your PLC for simple 4…20 mA or 0…10 V analog outputs.

Mobile equipment

Sensors installed on over-the-road vehicles, construction equipment, and other mobile machines are exposed to extremely harsh conditions. Road salt, vibration, temperature extremes, etc. can cause premature failure of electronic equipment.

ifm’s PT and PU pressure transmitters are designed and tested for these extremes. The 316 stainless steel body and IP69K rating make them the ideal solution for these applications.
