Ultrasonic sensors installation guidelines

Ultrasonic sensors are quite easy to install by following these few guidelines.

• Sound-absorbing material could impact reliable operation for diffuse sensors. Consider using a retro-reflective ultrasonic sensor for these applications.
• Take the blind zone in front of the sensor into consideration when setting up your application. Review the FAQ regarding the blind zone.
• Mount all-metal ultrasonic sensors at least 1/2" away from any ungrounded equipment.
