The connection of machines, equipment and systems is implemented via the LR AGENT CP (Connectivity Port).
The LR AGENT CP is the result of the development cooperation between ifm and SAP (LINERECORDER Agent and SAP Pco - Plant Connectivity). Both programs are connected via a high-speed interprocess communication protocol.
LR Agent CP is a configurable, bidirectionally communicating interface software.
It collects and handles process information from the machines and transmits them to other systems (e.g. databases, ERP systems, MES). Furthermore, LR AGENT CP sends required information back to the machines.
