The ifm cabinet controller is a robust and adaptable programmable logic controller for machine and plant automation. With a 1.3 GHz quad-core ARM 64-bit processor, this unit achieves optimal performance levels even in harsh environments with ambient temperatures reaching 55°C. Featuring an array of embedded communication protocols, including Profinet, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus TCP, the controller provides end users with the flexibility to seamlessly integrate it into their existing systems. This integration enables the real-time recording and processing of data.
The IFM cabinet unit utilizes Codesys V 3.5 as a free programming environment that provides additional features such as PLC functions, remote web visualization and IIOT capabilities.
