Phase-in/phase-out control: staying on top of the life cycle
With the new release, we are expanding demand planning to include powerful phase-in/phase-out control, offering demand planners maximum flexibility and speed. Using the familiar mass change function in the planning sheet, new or expiring materials can be modelled in just a few clicks – either manually or on the basis of existing time series.
The new dialogue intuitively guides planners through all the relevant settings:
- Choice between manual modelling and automatic modelling based on existing time series
- Control of time series formation (absolute or percentage)
- Definition of phase-in/phase-out length
- Individual percentage increase or decrease
- Determination of start period and start value
- Feasible at detail level or higher aggregation levels
This makes the modelling of phase-ins or phase-outs not only more accurate, but above all significantly more efficient.

The new function for pricing based on SAP conditions brings a significantly higher degree of accuracy and automation to turnover and quantity planning.
Alternatively, you can import your own conditions via CSV upload, allowing you to flexibly map individual pricing logic.
This allows conversion of values into quantities (and vice versa) directly in the planning tool – including seamless further processing and transfer of the resulting requirements.

Turnover Planning Analysis Planning Data: compare, understand, optimise
The new evaluation tool gives demand planners and SCM managers a comprehensive option for the first time to centrally evaluate all planning data and versions of a scenario – both graphically and in tabular form.
Intuitive selection options allow materials, planning hierarchies, quantities and values to be analysed and compared with each other in a targeted manner. This makes demand planning not only more transparent, but also significantly more reliable and quicker to evaluate.

Turnover Planning Error Measures Analysis: planning quality at the touch of a button
The new “Error Measures Analysis” app provides demand planners and SCM managers with a powerful tool for evaluating the quality of their planning accurately, based on data and in real time.
The app enables detailed analysis of forecasting quality – at every aggregation level and using freely selectable selection criteria. Key performance indicators and error measures are available for this purpose, including:
- Turnover deviation
- Turnover shares
- WMAPE
- Forecast accuracy
