Product licensing
With Release 26.0, we are introducing a redesign of product licensing. License keys will henceforth be managed in the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and automatically retrieved by your SAP system. The previous license verification process will also be adjusted accordingly. Manual steps are required to switch to the new registration verification. Therefore, please open a ticket with the subject: “Switch to the new product licensing” before upgrading to Release 26.0.
The right to use new functionalities will in future be governed by a tiered model (Essential, Advanced, Professional). Details can be found in the application documentation or obtained directly from your ifm sales contact.
Clean Core
Our SCX solution is being gradually adapted and extended in accordance with the SAP Clean-Core principle. With Release 26.0, part of our solution already meets the certification requirements for Level B and Level C. Objects categorised as Level D, which cannot be certified, have been moved to a separate software component. Further information can be found in the installation guide.
According to the current status of the guidelines, these objects can be fully renovated with Release 27.0 (Q1/2027). In principle, our solution can also operate without this software component. However, existing customers are likely to use functions from it. Therefore, any uninstallation should always be carried out in consultation with your ifm consultant.
Languages
The release is delivered in German and English by default.
The following languages are expected to be available from mid-March: Chinese (simplified), French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Croatian, Czech, Dutch, Hungarian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai and Turkish.
