The PerformanceLine IO-Link masters (AL14 series) were specially developed for the reliable operation of devices with high power requirements. Thanks to their robust design, they not only enable the safe control of actuators up to 2 amperes, but also offer functions for efficient energy monitoring.
With the standardised L-coded M12 power supply, the devices can be easily integrated into existing systems. The integrated daisy-chain function simplifies cabling, while current limiting and monitoring per port ensure maximum safety.

Daisy-chain power supply
The daisy-chain power supply enables multiple IO-Link masters and other field devices to be connected in series, eliminating the need for each device to be connected individually to the power supply. This uses a standardised, L-coded M12 connector designed for higher currents.

2 A current rating
Many applications use high-performance actuators, such as solenoid valves, grippers, drives, or valve terminals. These require more power than standard IO-Link ports can supply.
The PerformanceLine IO-Link master AL14 series enables the safe and reliable connection of such actuators with a current requirement of up to 2 amperes per port.
The master also offers adjustable current limiting to protect devices and cables from overload.
