Position sensors for mobile machines
A key requirement for use in mobile machines is the reliable detection of positions and machine parts. In contrast to devices for industrial automation, the demands on sensors for mobile applications are much higher. As they are installed in exposed positions, they have to withstand challenging environmental conditions such as weather and dirt. What is more, these sensors must be able to resist vibrations and electromagnetic interference in accordance with automotive standards.
Extremely resistant
They easily withstand dust, moisture, extreme temperatures, shocks and vibrations.
Temperature resistance: -40...85°C
This means that they work perfectly in both icy conditions and close to hot engines, for example.
Insensitive to contamination and environmental conditions
Thanks to their non-contact measuring principle, these sensors also operate flawlessly in dust, rain or fog.
E1 type approval
Many sensors meet the strict requirements of E1 certification. This ensures their suitability for use in vehicles and mobile machines where the highest safety and quality standards apply.
In addition to sensors specifically designed for mobile machines, our portfolio includes a broad range of other position sensors used in this field, such as:
Ultrasonic sensors ➜ Photoelectric sensors ➜ Sensors for hydraulic cylinders ➜ Capacitive sensors ➜
