Delivery prediction: proactively control delivery deviations

In the SAP standard version, delivery date predictions can only be viewed by item, so it is not possible to get a quick, comprehensive overview of potential shifts. The new app closes precisely this gap: it displays all possible deviations in a central and transparent way. This means that their effects on downstream processes can be analysed and processed quickly and efficiently. As a result, risks can be identified early, managed efficiently and production delays or costly rescheduling can be avoided.

Additionally, the app facilitates targeted analysis of suppliers, materials, and product groups to enhance process reliability on an ongoing basis.
Thanks to intelligent integration into the need-for-action section in procurement, users are informed of relevant potential shifts in a personalised and timely manner, allowing them to check, prioritise and resolve issues immediately.

Full transparency regarding possible reschedules

Quick impact analysis on subsequent processes

Targeted supplier and material analyses

Personalised notifications of relevant deviations

New functions

Multi-screen in the Fiori Launchpad: more windows, more overview

With our new multi-screen logic, you can now work just as flexibly in the Fiori Launchpad as on the desktop: open several windows at the same time, view them in parallel and switch seamlessly between them.

The simple, dynamic multi-screen functionality that was previously missing from the SAP Fiori Launchpad is now part of everyday life. Users can handle processes in parallel, compare information more quickly and prevent workflow interruptions. In short: fewer clicks, more overview, significantly more efficient work.

Flexible window control as in the SAP GUI: Screens can be split or undocked into separate pop-up windows as needed.

Efficient updating: Functions such as "Refresh all open windows" are now also available in the Fiori Launchpad.

Quick access to additional information: Relevant information is immediately visible and directly supports users in making decisions.

Pegged requirements: transparency across the entire chain at the touch of a button

This new feature gives you instant access to information that would previously have taken a long time to gather: Information about the pegged requirements is now displayed directly in all relevant detail windows at lightning speed and in detail. Unlike the previous, time-consuming SAP standard calculation, the Operations Project provides immediate and highly precise data on purchase requisitions, purchase orders, planned orders, production orders and missing parts.

Result: maximum transparency, fewer clicks and significantly faster decisions.

Immediate availability: Data is ready for use, already configured for operations project users.

Complete transparency: The entire pegged requirements chain becomes visible at a glance.

Detailed insights: When jumping to the operations project, there is much more detailed information on each requirement.

More efficient decisions: Faster, well-founded decisions thanks to immediately available, comprehensive data.

New functions

Missing parts app: identify and resolve missing parts at an early stage

The new “Missing parts" app allows users to keep production and planned orders under control at all times. Missing parts are displayed transparently – including the pegged requirements, the requirement dates and the missing quantities. This allows bottlenecks to be identified and resolved immediately, preventing production delays and reducing the need for rescheduling.

Fast, efficient handling of missing parts in day-to-day business, directly in the clean core – previously tedious and time-consuming, now intuitive and effective.

Full transparency: Missing parts and affected assemblies are displayed across all plants – including the pegged requirements, the requirement dates and the missing quantities.

Targeted analyses: Missing parts can be inspected directly at order level, quickly and precisely.

Integration into the need-for-action section: Users receive personalised information about missing parts and can react immediately (from Advanced level).

Increasing efficiency: Fast handling of missing parts reduces production delays and minimises rescheduling.

New functions

Batch dashboard: full transparency for stock levels and shelf life expiration dates

The new batch dashboard gives users a comprehensive overview of all batches, including information about remaining shelf life, expiration date, quantity and value. The dashboard clearly shows which batches are no longer available for stock transfers due to their short remaining shelf life, and which items risk not being used before their expiration date.

Having access to early information makes it possible to take countermeasures in good time, avoid scrapping costs and manage stocks efficiently. Through personalised notifications within the procurement need‑for‑action section, users are proactively informed so they can immediately analyse relevant batches and take action.

Early transparency: All potential expiration dates are clearly displayed – quantity and value at a glance.

Proactive action: Users can intervene in good time before bottlenecks or losses occur.

Cost savings: Scrapping is either minimised or avoided altogether to achieve measurable efficiency gains.

Efficient inventory management: Optimised inventory planning and controlling thanks to a clear, data-based decision-making basis.
