"It's a brave new world" - ifm and Hannover Messe
Hermes Award, Gerhard Schröder, Angela Merkel and Barack Obama: Hannover Messe has always been scene and stage and ifm has offered space for special moments several times already. A quick look back at the start of Hannover Messe 2019.
Barack Obama together with Angela Merkel on the ifm fair stand is one of the highlights of ifm history in Hanover.
For the first time, the ifm group of companies participated in Hannover Fair in 1981, from 01 - 08 April. Since the foundation, the focus of the ifm group has been on national as well as international fairs.
Ever since, the fair halls in Hanover have been the scene for some special ifm moments:

01 April 2016: "It's a brave new world" - Accompanied by Chancellor Angela Merkel, much impressed US President Obama leaves the ifm fair stand at Hanover Fair - and the media echo is gigantic.
