ifm's vibration analysis technology ensures reliable rail replacement

ifm provides advanced sensor technology for TSO’s trains, designed for rail replacement. To ensure maximum reliability and prevent breakdowns, a comprehensive vibration analysis solution using acceleration sensors and diagnostic electronics was implemented. This system monitors the diesel-electric train drive, including the engine, generator and transfer case, and provides early detection of potential issues.

In addition to vibration analysis, pressure, temperature, flow sensors and a particle monitor were supplied. These technologies help TSO maintain efficient operations and meet strict performance standards on-site.
