THE GUESTS

Anna Verena Binz

is Director Head of Global Supply Chain at Chemetall GmbH, which is now part of the BASF Group. She manages global, regional, and local supply chain functions and is responsible for key tasks such as forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, raw material procurement, customer service, logistics processes, and the optimisation of production allocations.

Her career at Chemetall has included a variety of positions: before moving into the supply chain environment, she was head of various research and development projects in surface technology and completed a part-time degree in chemical engineering. Through her work in demand management, initially in a management role for the EMEA and South America regions and later with responsibility for global demand and forecasting processes, she has continuously developed her skills to gain a holistic understanding of the supply chain.

With her interface skills between R&D, production, and logistics, she brings both technical knowledge and process understanding to the table – making her ideal for providing valuable insights in talks on topics such as industrial supply chains, sustainability in production, and innovation management.
