JBC dynamic inclination sensor with IO-Link
Omnidirectional. Brilliant. – Maximum performance, minimal design.
Take the signal quality of your application to the next level with the new acceleration-compensated inclination sensors from the JBC series. The sensors continuously record all accelerations and rotations occurring in six degrees of freedom (6DoF).
A sophisticated sensor fusion algorithm based on a Kalman filter detects and compensates for vibrations, shocks and rotational movements in real time.
The result: Only the actually relevant angle values for roll and pitch are output precisely and without delay – for maximum accuracy even under dynamic conditions.
Optimised for series production!
Small, robust design combined with perfect functionality.
Reduces integration and installation effort to a minimum
- Only two fixing screws
- Inductive teach surface for easy "zeroing" – without software
Calibrated for accuracy ex works
- Each sensor is factory calibrated across the entire measuring range.
- Designed for maximum accuracy in any mounting position
Multifunctional thanks to SensorFusion
- Spatial interaction between acceleration sensor and gyroscope
- No time delays due to additional filters
Omnidirectional measurement (6 DOF)
- Raw data from all axes is used as the basis for sensor fusion.
- All raw data is available separately.
The dynamic inclination sensor series JBC is the perfect solution for moving/driving applications, such as levelling, angle measurement and positioning.
Where space requirements are usually very small and weight must be very low, but performance cannot be compromised!
Fork-lift truck
- Monitoring of fork inclination and lift mast during travel
- Prevention of tipping over due to incorrect loading
Mini excavator
- Precise positioning of excavator attachments in space, regardless of the position of the driver’s cab
- Limiting the tilt of the cab ("roll-over protection")
Lifting platform
- Precise and even alignment of the platform regardless of the surface
- Calculation of the lift height based on the angle values
The inertial measurement units of the JBC series can be mounted as required for the application, i.e. either horizontally or vertically. Based on the respective final mounting position, the sensors output two compensated tilt angles (pitch and roll). The alignment of the sensor can also be changed as desired within the room via the interface.
