Defies high pressures and abrasive media

Wherever highly viscous or abrasive media such as adhesives, glue or sealants are conveyed through pipes under exact and high pressure, the compact G1/2 type PL pressure transmitter is the ideal choice. The flush design provides no dead space for media to adhere to, effectively preventing clogging of the pipe. The PL also scores highly in other challenging applications, such as pumps, water filtration and mobile machines, thanks to its robustness.

Flush mount sealed or shorter installation length

ifm’s own, extremely safe sealing concept of the PL15 prevents fluid media such as water or lacquers from entering the threaded area of the measurement connection under high pressure, from depositing there, or from mixing with or even contaminating subsequent media further into the process.

The PL13 with a shortened process connection and flat gasket is the ideal choice for installation in T-pieces and mounting adapters with standard dimensions.

PF pressure sensor as an alternative with display

For applications with similarly challenging media, in which process values are to be read on the machine and parameter setting is to be carried out on the sensor itself, the PF15 pressure sensor is a suitable alternative.
