The LDL101 and LDL3x1 conductivity sensors are the ideal choice for applications where highest standards of water purity, and therefore product quality or process safety, must be met.

The sensors can measure conductivity from as low as 0.04 μS/cm. The LDL3x1 can also provide a specific resistance value in MΩ. This makes them ideal for the use in applications involving purified water at all treatment stages. Typical areas of application include the food and beverage industry, semiconductor production, the pharmaceutical industry and power production.

Quality assurance and condition monitoring

Thanks to a high resolution and a loss-free digital signal transmission via IO-Link, the water quality can be analysed continuously and precisely, ensuring stable and reliable processes.

In ultrapure water processes, rising conductivity or falling resistivity can serve as an early indicator that the filters require maintenance, for example.

When monitoring cooling circuits, the sensors detect increasing mineralisation of the water at an early stage, allowing countermeasures to be initiated before damage to the piping system occurs.
