Identification and verification of text
The OCR function enables text identification and verification.
Autofind code function
The auto-find code function of the Vision Assistant automatically recognises several different codes in one image. The user can easily assign these codes in the Vision Assistant.
Flow settings
The sequence control clearly visualises all image and code settings.
This quickly gives you a comprehensive overview of the whole application. In addition, the logic and interface function allows easy programming of the sensor output.
Optimum contrast by means of a polarisation filter
The integrated optional illumination with polarisation filter ensures sufficient contrasts to reliably read codes even in case of shiny surfaces such as metal.
Multi-image function
Several images are taken with variable exposure times in order to reliably detect codes with different surface textures, colours or ambient light conditions.
Logic layer function
Data pre-processing in the sensor. This reduces PLC programming complexity.
Interface definition
Data sent to the PLC can be defined independently and thus filtered for the desired information.
Service report function
The sensor creates a service report about the past faulty readings. The sensor does NOT have to be stopped and can continue to be used in production mode.
Real-time maintenance function
The following values can be checked to ensure that the sensor is functioning correctly:
