Mechatronic flow meters with display

The SBY range mechatronic flow sensors with display monitor liquid media such as water, glycol solutions, industrial oils or coolants. They detect the two process categories volumetric flow and medium temperature.
The sensors operate to the principle of spring-supported piston. The piston, located in the valve seat in the housing, is lifted by the flowing medium against the spring resistance. The position of the piston indicates the flow. The spring resistance forces the piston to return to its original position with decreasing flow, preventing backflow.
The product line comprises flow transmitters with analogue output and flow monitors with switching output.
Set-up, maintenance and operation are facilitated by a 4-digit LED display, which is visible from all sides even at greater distances, and two switching status LEDs on the sensor head. The display can be switched from the indication of "red" to an alternating indication of "red - green". So, switching states can be highlighted or an independent colour window can be created.
Thanks to its robust mechanical design, the sensor can be used at high pressures and in harsh industrial environments. Depending on the volumetric flow quantity to be detected, devices with different process connections are offered.
Parameter setting is effected via the buttons on the sensor. The sensor can also be configured via IO-Link, e.g. using a USB interface. The LINERECORDER SENSOR software is used to visualise, transfer and archive parameter sets.
