With the one-brand strategy under the heading "One vision. One brand", ifm positions itself as a provider of digital solutions and relies on a comprehensive digitisation strategy.
A further step in this direction is the merger of all the Siegen-based companies belonging to the ifm Group at one location: The youngest ifm location "The SUMMIT" houses about 300 ifm specialists from all Industry 4.0 areas in one high-tech centre. Hence, the ifm location in Siegen is part of the Industry 4.0 strategy of the ifm group of companies. Following this strategy, solutions for the digitisation of the entire value chain "from sensor to ERP" are being developed, offered and implemented.
These profound changes in combination with a high brand complexity require a stringent brand launch: Part of it is the definition of the one-brand strategy "One vision. One brand", the standardisation of the brand presentation based on it and the consistent implementation of a professional brand process.
The brand is used as driver and mutual platform for the necessary transformation: "With our digitisation strategy we are facing profound changes. Our brand must lead us through this process", summarises Michael Marhofer, Chairman of the Board and co-CEO.
