Actemium has chosen ifm to support PMC Ouvrie in its digitisation process

Accompanied by Actemium Arras, the first step towards Industry 4.0 is the digitalisation of the 500 valves of the production site with the ifm solution MVQ201. The MVQ201 continuously monitors the position of the valve flap with degree accuracy. The end positions are automatically approached and taught in using the auto-teach function. The control valve can be easily connected via the separate M12 connection and controlled via IO-Link. This reduces the cabling and installation effort - and thus also potential sources of error.

While this project focuses on people, this new system uses IO-Link technology for condition-based maintenance of the valves, saving valuable time and money.
