The IO-Link caters for digital sensor signals to connect direct to a PLC - without conversion losses - meaning the highest available reading accuracy. IO-Link sensors give you both important signals, and performance information. Like the number of switching cycles for a pressure switch. Or multiple signals through one wire from process sensors measuring both pressure & temperature!
