ecolink - product overview

EVC – (Coolant)
For applications in factory automation, the machine tool industry, mechanical engineering and hydraulic applications

High-quality PUR materials suited to the requirements in industrial environments. Good resistance to mineral and hydraulic oils, fats and coolants as well as UV radiation. The connectors are halogen-free and silicone-free and the cables are suitable for drag chains and torsional movements.

EVT – (Temperature)
For hygienic and wet areas in the food industry

High-quality PVC housing and cable, gold-plated contacts and high-grade stainless steel (316L/1.4404) nuts. The good resistance to standard cleaning and disinfecting agents of the industry ensures a long lifetime. These products only have a restricted lifetime when used in filling systems in which hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid are used for cleaning and disinfection. In these cases, we recommend products from the EVF series.

EVF – (Food)
For hygienic and wet areas in the food industry

High-quality PP housing and a special cable with innovative MPPE sheath insulation guarantee a very good resistance to standard cleaning and disinfecting agents of the industry. The coupling nut has a special contour for more grip even when hand tightened with wet fingers. The smooth surface prevents build-up of dirt and allows cleaning without problems.

EVM – (Mobile)
For sensors in particularly harsh environments, such as construction machines or gritters

High-quality PUR materials suited to the requirements in mobile environments. Good resistance to mineral and hydraulic oils, fats and coolants. The connectors are halogen-free and silicone-free and the cables are suitable for drag chains and torsional movements. The corrosion resistant coupling nut is made of stainless steel (316L/1.4404).

EVW – (Welding)
For welding applications

A special halogen-free PUR cable prevents burning-in of weld spatter; teflon-coated coupling nuts prevent weld spatter sticking.
The cable is suitable for drag chains and torsional movements, which makes it a good choice for applications in welding robots.

EVS - (Standard)
For standard applications

The low-cost alternative for use in factory automation.

ENC..A – (Atex)
For applications in hazardous areas ATEX cat. 1D and 1G.

These blue connectors are designed for use in ATEX applications in intrinsically safe circuits of category 1D/G. The PUR cables have a low inductance and capacitance, which enables use in applications with long cable lengths. The material of the sheath insulation reduces the danger of static charge caused by friction.
Approval body DEKRA EXAM, notified in Germany, has type-tested and certified the connectors.
The EC type examination certificate for components is valid in all EU countries.

EVC..A – (Atex)
For applications in hazardous areas ATEX cat. 2D, 3D and 3G.

ifm connectors of the ecolink series comply with the strict standard requirements and may be used in ATEX areas of the categories 2D, 3D and 3G.
Approval body DEKRA EXAM, notified in Germany, has type-tested and certified the connectors.
The EC type examination certificate for components is valid in all EU countries.

EVF – (Food)
wirable

With this innovative and patented technology, strain relief and cable seal are strictly separated from each other, the strain relief being guaranteed by means of an extremely strong three-way ball clamp that reliably clamps the cable even in case of intense tensile strain. Thanks to the strict separation, there is no mechanical load on the seal so that the cable is not deformed at the sealing point. The highly elastic cable seal is positioned right at the cable entry and reliably seals even in case of intense cable movement. This prevents dirt accumulation and the connectors are easy to clean.
Thanks to the patented technology, these wirable connectors achieve protection rating IP65, IP67, IP68 and IP69K.
