Students may potentially be the best brand advocates for ifm, if we start things right early in their learning journey. That is why the ifm Asia Regional Office (iARO) took the opportunity to collaborate with the faculty of engineering and technology at Multimedia University (MMU) in Melaka.

ifm is proud to be a sponsor of the young team in the upcoming Robocon competition, where the young engineers will make use of various sensors to design and build a robot in the most innovative way to overcome all the obstacles and complete the tasks of the competition. MMU has been taking part since year 2002. Robotics is one of the key elements in industry 4.0, and we wish to support the students in this journey towards creating revolutionary robots for industrial use in future.

Furthermore, ifm is also in dialogue with the university to find out how we can support them in the long run. For example, conducting regular industry talks at the university to give the students more information on real-life applications.
