Testing radar sensors from ifm in bad weather conditions

Cerema has a simulation tunnel for testing radar sensors. Radar sensors from ifm have been rigorously evaluated under real conditions, including scenarios of poor visibility such as fog or rain, alongside LIDAR and other camera types.
The radar sensor can accurately measure technical parameters such as distance, position, and speed, even when the target is obscured. Extensive testing has been conducted to validate its reliability in various fog and rain scenarios. The ifm radar sensor is resistant to environmental challenges and remains unaffected by rain and fog.
