Pressure sensor with high-quality ceramic measuring cell

Maintenance-free and robust

On the process side, the pressure sensors are maintenance-free because they have no elastomer seal. The flush and robust ceramic measuring cell is resistant to pressure and vacuum shocks and to impact by abrasive substances. In addition, the sensor withstands medium temperatures of up to 150 °C (max. 1h). It is therefore particularly suitable for all common food applications.

High accuracy

The PM16 and PM17 pressure transmitters have an overall accuracy of 0.2 %. Furthermore, temperature compensation with fast temperature changes (e.g. in CIP/SIP processes) has been improved considerably. The sensor is therefore suitable for all common food applications.

Flexible fitting

The sensors are available with Triclamp for direct installation, G1 sealing cone and G1 Aseptoflex-Vario for installation with process and welding adapters in tanks and with G1/2 sealing cone especially for installation in pipes.

Free factory certificate

At www.factory-certificate.ifm you can download a free factory certificate for each PM pressure sensor purchased.

Added value thanks to IO-Link

Loss-free data transmission
IO-Link enables loss-free data transmission, as conversion losses are excluded via digital communication and external influences, such as magnetic fields, have no effect on data transmission.

Transparent processes
The current pressure is output precisely with the highest possible resolution via IO-Link. This makes it easy to keep a close eye on your process at all times.

Easy set-up
The pressure sensor can be configured quickly and easily via an IT connection, e.g. moneo, using IO-Link.

Precise monitoring of oxygen flows

The company trimatec develops ventilators and relies on pressure sensors from ifm for monitoring oxygen flows. The PM15 hygienic pressure sensor precisely monitors the pressure in the expiratory block and easily withstands cleaning processes and sterilisation.

Reliable pressure monitoring at the pump

The Kögelhof farm is dedicated to producing biogas that can be converted into energy. As part of the disintegration process, PM16 pressure sensors reliably monitor the pressure at the pump. The flush sensors are distinguished by their robust ceramic-capacitive pressure measuring cell.

Hygienic adaptation thanks to flush design

The Wildberg cheese dairy relies on sensors from ifm for the production of its specialities. An important sensor for the Wildberg cheese dairy is the PM15 pressure sensor, which monitors the pressure conditions in the heat exchanger. The flush design enables a hygiene-certified adaptation which prevents deposits and ensures cleanability during the CIP process.
