The ifm products installed in the attraction raise visitors of the Karls adventure village 22 metres into the air.

Since 21 March 2021, visitors of the Karls adventure village in Rövershagen can experience adventurous flying manoeuvres at an altitude of 22 metres with the Sky Fly "Maja's wild sisters" from Gerstlauer. However, the focus here is not only on fun. In the waiting area of the attraction, visitors can also learn more about different bee species and become pollen collectors themselves.

How does the technology of the attraction work?

The cabin carrier with twelve individual seats is lifted into the air. The locking of the cabins unblocks and, thanks to the control wings on the sides of the seats, each passenger can let their cabin flip sideways. Due to the tilted bearing of the main arm, the cabin carrier rises up to 22 metres in each round and then goes down again. The shoulder restraints are continuously adjustable by means of hydraulic locking cylinders and are redundantly locked. This guarantees maximum safety for every passenger.

If you take a look inside the technology behind the seats, the orange colour that is typical of ifm immediately catches the eye.

Here you can see the inductive ifm sensor IN5370. This can be used for installation conditions where space is at a premium. A connection cable with socket was also mounted. It is the product EVC497.
