ifm spotted: Robotic Fast Food

21/07/2022

ifm spotted at Guarulhos airport in São Paulo.

Robotic fast food enables the preparation of snacks without human contact in three minutes.

ifm colleague Robson Rodrigues found the robotic fast food equipped with OGH sensors and EVC cables at the Guarulhos airport in São Paulo. According to the developers, the product is the first robotic fast food in the world, thanks to which it is possible to eat a freshly made snack without any human contact, from purchase to order.

The complete preparation process is robotized with the implemented technology allowing the robot to deep-fry the food using cotton seed oil. The menu products stay frozen at -18 degrees inside the machine and are fried at 180 degrees, which allows the food to be read to eat in three minutes.

Thanks to Robson Rodrigues for sharing the discovery!
