La French Fab: ifm is involved!

On 03/04/2019, Michael Marhofer, chairman of the ifm group, presented the ifm group's strategy for Industry 4.0 and digitisation at the Hannover Messe during an event of "La French Fab", a joint initiative of French companies related to digitisation. "La French Fab" aims at promoting the French industry's transformation towards becoming France's economic focus as well as promoting the networking of the French industrial companies. With this ambition in mind, "La French Fab" was launched on 2 October 2017.
Michael Marhofer described the ifm group's approach as follows: "Before being able to provide our customers with a digital solution portfolio, we ourselves must become a digital company." However, he also described how ifm already took first steps towards Industry 4.0 in 2005, with IO-Link and other activities, and presented the latest product and solution portfolio.
