Terms and Conditions for Participation in “Scan & Save – Trade Fair Special at SPS 2025”

1. Organizer, Eligibility, Acceptance of General Terms and Conditions

These general terms apply to the “Scan & Save – Trade Fair Special at SPS 2025.” By submitting the “Scan & Save – Trade Fair Special at SPS 2025” questionnaire to ifm, the participant expressly and bindingly accepts the following general terms and conditions. Upon corresponding consent, ifm will contact the interested party and grant a discount of the defined amount on the purchase of a product from the group of qualified promotional products listed under section (2). The applicable discount is also specified there.
Participation is possible during the promotional period during and after the SPS 2025 trade fair from November 25, 2025, 00:00 until November 30, 2025, 23:59. Eligible to participate is any interested party who submits the “Scan & Save – Trade Fair Special at SPS 2025” questionnaire to ifm. Natural persons under the age of 18 are excluded from participation.

Employees of the organizer and its affiliated companies, including their relatives, are excluded from participation.
Participation in the “Scan & Save – Trade Fair Special at SPS 2025” and the granting of the discount is limited to participants with a registered address in the Federal Republic of Germany.
The participant is solely responsible for the accuracy of the data provided for participation in the “Scan & Save – Trade Fair Special at SPS 2025.” All information must be truthful; otherwise, exclusion from the promotion may occur.

2. Granting of a Discount

All interested parties will receive an offer from ifm after submitting the completed questionnaire: Upon corresponding consent, ifm will contact the interested party and grant a discount in the amount specified below on the purchase of a product from the group of promotional products:

Cash payment of the granted discount is excluded. In the event of withdrawal, the received discount must be returned to ifm.

3. Liability of the Organizer  

ifm is not liable for incorrect information provided and/or disseminated by participants and/or third parties, including any cooperation partners of ifm, in connection with the dissemination of information about the “Scan & Save – Trade Fair Special at SPS 2025.”
ifm does not guarantee that all links and references made in the context of the “Scan & Save – Trade Fair Special at SPS 2025” are correct or complete.
ifm is not liable for damages caused by technical disruptions, delays, or interruptions in transmissions, or for damages related to participation in the “Scan & Save – Trade Fair Special at SPS 2025,” unless ifm or its agents act intentionally or with gross negligence. This does not affect any claims for compensation arising from injury to life, body, or health, as well as essential contractual obligations.

4. Data Protection

By participating in the “Scan & Save – Trade Fair Special at SPS 2025,” the participant expressly agrees that the organizer may store the necessary data, such as first name, last name, and email address, for the duration of the campaign and its processing. The participant is free to revoke consent at any time and thus withdraw from participation. Rights under the General Data Protection Regulation remain unaffected. The organizer points out that all personal data of the participant will not be made accessible to third parties.

5. Exclusion of Participants

ifm reserves the right to exclude participants from the “Scan & Save – Trade Fair Special at SPS 2025.” This applies in particular in cases of culpable violations of the terms of participation or if participants manipulate or attempt to manipulate the participation process or the campaign, or use other dishonest means. ifm may exclude participants if there is reasonable suspicion that they will express themselves in a criminal, defamatory, or inciting manner in ifm’s offers or events.

If ifm subsequently determines that the participant has fulfilled a reason for exclusion under section 5 or was not eligible to participate under section 1, ifm may exclude them from the “Scan & Save – Trade Fair Special at SPS 2025.”

6. Miscellaneous

The organizer reserves the right to change the terms of participation for good cause or to interrupt or terminate the “Scan & Save – Trade Fair Special at SPS 2025” in whole or in part for important reasons without prior notice. This applies in particular in cases of force majeure or if the campaign cannot be carried out or continued for other organizational, technical, or legal reasons. Participants have no claims against ifm in such cases.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
Deviations from these terms of participation must be in writing to be effective. The same applies to the waiver of the written form requirement.
Should one or more of the above clauses be wholly or partially void, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining conditions shall remain effective. A corresponding valid clause shall replace the invalid provision. The same applies in the case of a regulatory gap.
Place of performance and jurisdiction is Essen, insofar as an agreement on this is permissible. Otherwise, the seat or residence of the defendant applies.
Legal recourse is excluded.
