Connection cables with socket for use in welding applications

  • Weld-slag resistant PUR cable with drag chain suitability
  • Nut with special weld-slag resistant coating
  • Mechanical end stop to protect the O-ring from destruction
  • Nut secured against shock and vibration due to saw tooth contoured vibration protection
  • LEDs clearly visible even under bright lighting

Sockets are generally used in automation technology to connect sensors and actuators with connectors to splitter boxes.
Even when fastened by hand, a perfect lasting seal of sensor and actuator connections is guaranteed. The integrated end stop protects the O-ring against destruction caused by over-tightening the nut. Even in harsh industrial environments, the connectors are protected against unintended loosening by a special vibration protection. Some types are fitted with highly visible LEDs for operation and switching status indication.
The sockets of the ecolink EVW series for use in welding applications have a special PUR-jacketed cable.
The non-stick coating of the coupling nut allows weld spatter to roll off the sensor and enables easy and quick cleaning.
