How to use the three digital inputs

IO-Link-mode
When the single light detects an IO-Link communication, it starts the IO-Link mode automatically. In the IO-Link mode, the single light can be configured and also controlled via the process-data communication between IO-Link master and the single light.

The user can control the colour of the light and the flashing frequency, he can control the Buzzer style, can switch on and off the buzzer and can read the status of the feedback button on top of the single light.

SIO-Mode: ON/OFF-mode
During parameter setting via IO-Link, the user can choose a mode. When the "ON/OFF mode" is chosen and the IO-Link-communication is interrupted, the single light starts the SIO mode automatically.

In the "ON/OFF-mode", the user can define another illumination for every input of the single light.

The user can define the colour, the flashing frequency and the intensity for each input. If the input is changing to high signal, the single light will appear in the predefined way. If two inputs are high at the same time, the input "LED-A" has a higher priority over input "LED-B " or "LED-C".

With a separate parameter, the customer has to define if the IO-Link pin 4 of the connector is used as an input to switch on the buzzer, or if it is used as an output to indicate the status of the feedback button.

SIO mode: RGB mode
During the parameter setting via IO-Link, the user can choose a mode. When the "RGB mode" is chosen and the IO-Link-communication is interrupted, the single light starts the SIO mode automatically.

In the "RGB mode", the three digital inputs have a fixed functionality. Here every input is dedicated to one of the three basic colours "red, green, blue".

Is the input LED-A high, the single light is red, if input LED-B is high, the single light is green. If Input LED-A AND LED-B are high at the same time, the combination of red AND green = yellow is used.

LED-A (red) LED-B (green) LED-C (blue) Colour
1 0 0 red
0 1 0 green
1 1 0 yellow
0 0 1 blue
1 0 1 purple
0 1 1 cyan
1 1 1 white
