Ronel Lal has been associated with Process and Plant Automation for about 19 years now. From Electrical, Instrumentation and Control design to Commissioning and Documentation, Ronel has a sound knowledge of the automation industry with a key interest in Industry 4.0 Solutions. Ronel Lal has been with ifm Efector for over 10 years now. Ronel started his journey with ifm as an Internal Sales Engineer, followed by a Field Sales Engineer’s role. Attaining his Senior Sales Engineers title, he moved into the Systems Solutions Team and now he has a National role as an Industry Specialist in two key Industries -Food & Beverage, and Water. ifm efector is a global leader in Automation Technologies providing sensors and solutions to over 150 countries globally. ifm develops position and process sensors, safety technology, industrial, imaging, mobile solutions and innovative Industry 4.0 solutions to make existing business processes digitally viable, whilst being sustainable, efficient and cost effective. Akmal Yang has been working with measurement technologies, instrumentation and automation technology for 11 years. Akmal’s journey in ifm began in 2017 as a Sales Engineer before moving into Product Management in 2022. His passion is in bringing about ifm’s suite of innovative, high-quality products into the Australian market. Akmal’s product portfolio includes precise, robust instrumentation such as flow, conductivity, temperature and level sensors. His passion lies in matching the ifm solution to various issues encountered in the myriad of sectors that ifm services.
