Mining Instrumentation specialist from ifm, experienced in industrial automation applications and solutions with key focus of bringing the latest Automation technology into the Mining Industry. Freddie Coertze

Freddie Coertze has been associated with factory and process automation industry for over 15 years now. From programming and commission plants and processes to optimising production lines, Freddie has a diverse knowledge of sensors and controls. Associated for close to a decade with ifm efector a German Family owned company, one of the world’s largest sensor and automation companies. Within ifm Freddie has numerous roles, around 8 years with Industrial Networking and Control Products like ASi (Actuator Sensor Interface). Freddie was chosen to manage and lead and grow the new IO-Link technology within Australia for the last 4 years. In the last year, Freddie was chosen to lead the IoT and IIoT team in Australia with regards to Industry 4.0 in various field, from agriculture, factory automation and wine industry. Freddie is focusing on the digital strategy, Industry 4.0, and IoT, and work in a team with senior leaders to better understand the value at stake from digital transformation and shape targeted strategies. Freddie work to configure organisations so they can achieve rapid improvements in customer experience, innovation, revenue, and costs. He will help leaders translate their digital vision into a prioritised set of value-rich opportunities and help determine how organisations can be set up for success in a digital world with their digital transformation.
