Video report

The company Steinhauser is a winery and old house distillery whose cooling system and tanks have been digitised with the help of ifm sensors. Thanks to the sensor technology used, it is possible to visualise and calculate the individual amounts of heating and cooling energy supplied to the respective areas. Thus, all values can be displayed in accordance with Steinhauser’s requirements.

ifm has succeeded in connecting the cooling units in such a way that the current values, the cooling values and all the electrical data are collected via the sensors and then visualised in the moneo software. In this way, even after a year, the processes and temperatures can still be viewed on a display, making it easier to get an overview of the energy consumption and therefore cost. It provides the Steinhauser distillery with a complete picture, which they can then use to improve their processes.
