Robot cell to assemble a structural component for a mass-produced vehicle.

The robot feeds the structural component to the assembly machine which then screws the angle brackets to it. A diffuse reflection sensor with background suppression sets up the exact XY position with a repeatability of ±0.5 mm. The inductive sensor also detects the Z position of the workpiece.
