An inductive dual sensor provides innovative feedback for quarter-turn actuators. It detects the open/closed position by means of a puck mounted on the axis of rotation. The integrated AS-i connection at the same time provides the voltage supply and bus interface.
Using the valvis linear sensor, continuous strokes (e.g. in sanitary valves) can be detected.
The ifm dual sensors of the T family are suited for the control and position feedback of pneumatic quarter-turn actuators. Up to 2 input and 2 output signals are transmitted at a low cost via a 2-wire bus cable (AS-interface). Up to 62 actuators with solenoid valve can be triggered via one AS-i master. For diagnostic purposes, wire break and short-circuit are monitored on the valve.
An extensive range of accessories ensures the convenient adaptation of the quarter-turn sensors to the different actuators. Different adapter plates and target pucks facilitate mounting.
