Pulse evaluation systems

Pulse evaluation systems monitor rotating and linear movements as well as all physical quantities which can be converted into pulse sequences. Units with different functions allow a tailor-made monitoring of slow and fast rotational speeds as well as complex synchronous or direction monitoring. Relay or transistor outputs give a signal if the actual value is above or below the set limit value. Compact units with integrated sensor are an inexpensive alternative to the units for DIN rail mounting.
Standard signal evaluation

Analogue standard signals by sensors or transmitters can be displayed, detected and recorded. Threshold relays and displays with analogue input show the actual values according to the preset physical units. Switching outputs signal if limit values are reached or exceeded.
Counting and displaying

Pulse counters detect the edges of the pulse sequences of sensors and encoders. A direction-dependent linear measurement using an incremental encoder as well as the counting of objects using photoelectric sensors for object detection are possible. A variety of functions such as autoreset or preset allow to set the parameters of the counters according to the requirements. Output relays switch if the preset values are reached.
Digital signal processing

The pulse sequences can be adapted to the evaluation system using pulse dividers or pulse converters that for example prolong a short pulse of a photo-electric sensor so that it is detected by a plc input.
Switching amplifier for Namur sensors according to 94/9/EG (ATEX)

NAMUR switching amplifiers evaluate the sensor signal and control the output. They meet all requirements of the ATEX directives. Switching amplifiers with relay and active transistor and potential-free optocoupler outputs are available. The control circuits hold the approval Ex II (1) GD [EEx ia] IIC. The amplifiers are designed for the connection to NAMUR sensors according to DIN EN 60947-5-6 and mechanical switches. They provide the supply voltage for the intrinsically safe circuit.
