 | Colour sensors are used for the non-contact detection of opaque and transparent objects based on their colour. The transmitters emit light pulses in the three basic colours red, green and blue which are reflected by an object. The light received by the receiver is amplified, digitised and evaluated by means of a microprocessor. If the signal value corresponds to a reference value read before, the switching output is activated. |
